- Check suspension and axle mounts for looseness or corrosion.
Electrical & Battery
- Check battery terminals for corrosion and tightness.
- Test charging voltage and inspect alternator function.
- Inspect wiring for fraying or exposure to heat or sharp edges.
- Test warning lights, horn, backup alarm, and display gauges.
Monthly Documentation & Safety
- Complete inspection checklist with technician signature.
- Record any abnormalities and submit for corrective action.
- Update forklift maintenance logbook or software.
- Document training record if any new technician performed service.
